HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-015 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -15 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF DOROTHY BUCKINGHAM WHEREAS, Dot Buckingham served as the Brooklyn Center Representative to the Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council from April, 1977 through December, 1981; and WHEREAS, her devotion to the tasks and responsibilities of the Council contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the Council and the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, her public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Dot Buckingham as a member of the Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council and citizen, is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center. /44 Date Mayor ATTEST: f C erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Bill Hawes, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
