HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-035 CCR Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 82 -35 RESOLUTION APPROJING CHANGE OF BID CPENING DATE FOR CONTRACT 1982 -B (STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1982 -02 AND BROOKDALE ACCESS IMPROVIIMENT PROJECT NO. 1982 -03) WHEREAS, Resolution N. 82 -34, adopted on February 8, 1982, established the bid opening date of March 4, 1982 for Contract 1982 -C; and WHEREAS, Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes, requires that three weeks must elapse between first publication of the advertisement for bids and the opening of said bids if the estimated cost exceeds $100,000.00; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has advised the City Council that it is necessary to change the bid opening date to March 11, 1982, to provide the required three week advertising period. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. The bid opening date for Contract 1982 -B is hereby rescheduled to March 11, 1982. 2. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to issue an addendum to the Contract Documents advising all planholders of said change. February 22, 1982 Mayor ATTEST: hill I Clerk IF The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
