HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-165 CCR moved its Membeadoptr ion: Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 81 -165 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A NEW BICYCLE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT APPROPRIATION IN THE UNALLOCATED DEPARTMENTAL EXPENSE BUDGET WHEREAS, a bicycle is required by the Police Department to patrol the City's parks and trails; and WHEREAS, the Police Department does not have an operable bicycle for use in its park patrol; and WHEREAS, the Police Department does not have funds in its 1981 budget to purchase a bicycle: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that an appropriation in the amount of $250.00 is hereby authorized to be transferred from the contingency account in the Unallocated Departmental Expense Budget to the Police Department Budget to be used for the purchase of a new bicycle for the Police Department. i/ 10, 1981 D/ Mayor ATTEST: ��/%f�® r Jr O r Clerk The motion for e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
