HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-172 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 81 -172 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS ON SEPTEMBER 28, 1981 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 28th day of September, 1981, in the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessments for the following charges: Public Utility Water Hookups and Diseased Shade Tree Removal Costs and Delinquent Weed Destruction Accounts and Delinquent Public Utility Accounts at such time and place all persons owning property to be assessed for such charges will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessments. 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith prepare assessment rolls for the above charges, and shall keep them on file and open to inspection by any interested persons. 3. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessments to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing. 4. The City Clerk shall cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in such assessment rolls no less than two weeks prior to the hearing.
