RESOLUTION NO. 80 198
R APPROVING AGREEMENT NO 60097 WITH MN /DOT
I PROVIDING FOR CHANNELIZATION AT THE INTERSECTION OF
T.H. 152 (BROOKLYN BOULEVARD) AND 65TH'AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into Agreement
N. 60097 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, for the
following purposes, to -wit: to provide for payment by the City to the State of
the City's 50 percent cost share of the state contract construction of concrete
median along the Trunk Highway No. 152 northerly and southerly approaches to
the 65th Avenue North intersection within the corporate City limits. The
estimated City share of said improvement is $3,037.50.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that authorization to execute such agreerent
is hereby given to the Mayor and the City Manager.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City share for said improvement be
paid from the Municipal State Aid Street Fund.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
