HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-202 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 202 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GARDEN CITY PARK PARKING LOT PROJECT Na; 1980 -23 AND 'ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that a parking lot be constructed in Garden City Park as a part of the Garden City Park /Central Park development; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Garden City Park Parking Lot Project No. 1980 -23. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement project described as follows: 1980 -23: Garden City Park Parking Lot Constriction of a parking lot in Garden City Park as an extension of Nash Road, approximately 150 feet east of Brooklyn Drive, including grading, drainage, base, surfacing, and curb and gutter construction. August 25, 1980 Date Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
