HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-230 CCR Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: III RESOLUTION NO. 80 -230 RESOLUTION ACCEPTIN3 BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM AT INTERSECTION OF T.H. 252 AND 73RD AVENUE NORTH (CONTRACT 1980 -0) WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on October 2, 1980, at 11:00 A.M., Tncal Time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Traffic Control Signal System Project No. 1980 -08, and that said bids were as follows: Bidder Total Amount Hardrives, Inc. $103,755.25 C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 99,377.00 WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer to the satis- faction of the City Council that the bid of C. S. McCrossan, Inc., is the best bid submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C. S. McCrossan, in the amount of III $99,377.00, as to furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment in connection with the aboe mentioned improvement project, according to the plans and specifications therefore now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a contract with said bidder. October 6, 1980 le Date /1' .yor ATTEST: 1 .,i.� I C k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
