HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-235 CCR Mier Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 235 RESOLUTION APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3 TO CONTRACT 1980-A WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that retaining walls must be constructed at various locations adjacent to the sidewalk along 53rd Avenue North not previously shown on the construction plans; and WHEREAS, the installation of specified retaining wall material proved to be impractical for said locations; and the City Engineer has recommended the use of cast -in -place concrete retaining walls at a unit price of $11.50 /Sq.Ft. in lieu of the specified material at $12.00 Sq.Ft. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the above modification to the 53rd Avenue I4rovement Project N. 1978 -39 is hereby approved. It is estimated that said Supplemental Agreement will result in an increase of $3, 450.00 in the Contract Amount. Funds are to be appropriated from Municipal State Aid Funds.
