HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-269 CCR Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -269 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF JACK BELL WHEREAS, Jack Bell served the City of Brooklyn Center for several years as a chamber member, chamber President, and on various advisory commissions; and WHEREAS, he will be moving from the community; and WHEREAS, his devotion to civic tasks and responsibilities contributed substantially to the sound progress and development of the City; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Jack Bell is recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center and that the City wishes him well in his new responsibilities. November 17, 1980 Date Mai• r i ATTEST: AlOr !/t �∎r" Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
