M ember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHI�U FREEVAY BOULEVARD S7REFT IMPROVRUTIT
PROJBCT 1981 -04, ACCFPTING CITY FNO=FR'S RFPORT, AND ORDER-
ING PREPARATIOV OF PLANS AMID SPECTFICATIOr ?c
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a report from the City
Engineer regarding the feasibility of constructing a right turn lane on
Freeway Boulevard at amboldt Avenue North at an estimated cost of $10,570; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary and in the best interests
of the City of Brooklyn Center to complete said improvement:
NOW, THERFFORF, BE IT RFSOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that said immproverent be established as Improve
rgent Protect No. 1981 -04.
BE IT FURTHFR RESOLVED that the City Engineer's Report is hereby
accepted and that the City Engineer be directed to prepare plans and gpecifica-
tions for said improvement project described as Freeway Boulevard Improvement
Project 1981 -04.

The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution, was duly seconded by
member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
