moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81 -58
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION OF AND APPRECIATION FOR
THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF CHRIS WHITE
WHEREAS, Chris White served the City of Brooklyn Center for sixteen
years as an employee in the Park Department since March 8, 1965; and
WHEREAS, he retired from Public Service on February 27, 1981; and
,WHEREAS, his devotion to the tasks and responsibilities associated
with his position contributed substantially to the sound progress and develop-
ment of the City; and
WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of
the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the dedicated public service of Chris White is recognized
and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center and that the City wishes him a
long and happy retirement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
