RESOLUTION NO. 81 -60
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AMID DIRBCTING ADVERTISE-
MENT FOR BIDS FOR SHINGLE CREEK PARKWAY STREET MAPROVENIENT PROJECT'
1981 -02, AND FREEWAY BOULEVARD STREET rAPROVEMENT PROJECT 1981 -04
(CONTRACT 1981 -B)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for Contract 1981 -B for the following
improvements prepared by the City Engineer are hereby approved and
order filed with the City Clerk:

FR1XVMY BOULEVARD STREET IlyPRCVEMENT, Project No. 1981 -04

2. The City Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvements by
publications at least twice in the official newspaper and in the
Construction Bulletin, the date of second publication not less than
ten (10) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice
shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk in
the amount of not less than five per cent (50) of the bid.
3. Bid date is set for April 14, 1981, at 11:00 o'clock, a.m., local
time.
4. The City Manager and City Engineer are hereby authorized to open
and tabulate the bids.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution eras duly seconded by
member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow-
ing voted in favorthereof Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
