HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-080 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81 -80 RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF DRINKING FOUNTAINS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the Director of Parks and Recreation have reported that on April 3, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids for twenty -one (21) drinking fountains and that bids were received as follows: Bidder Per Fountain Bid Total Bid Bond Goodin Company $495.00 $10,395.00 No Hawkins Jahnke $495.00 $10,395.00 Yes A J O'Connor $488.90 $10,266.90 No WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Director of Parks and Recreation that said bids be rejected and that new quotations be requested because two of the bidders did not submit bid bonds and that the bid of Hawkins Jahnke does not meet specifications: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that all bids be rejected. April 6, 1981 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
