HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-085 CCRMember Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-85 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PLANT -MIXED BITUMINOUS MATERIALS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 7, 1981, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous materials and said bids were as follows: Coarse Aggregate Fine Aggregate Winter Patch Bidder Furn. Load Furn. Load Mix Midwest Asphalt $22.25/ton $23.75 /ton $25.00 /ton C. S. McCrossan $18.80 /ton $21.70 /ton $25.00 /ton Commercial Asphalt $18.00 /ton (drum None None mix, not batch) Bury Carlson $20.75 /ton $21.25 /ton $23.85/ton NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of C. S. McCrossan for furnishing plant -mixed bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accept April 20, 1981 Date Mayor ATTEST: C 1'e The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
