HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-086 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81 -86 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS MATERIALS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 7, 1981, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous materials and said bids were as follows: Bidder Koch Asphalt Richards Asphalt Ashland Petroleum L. N. Sickels Co. CRS -1 or CRS -2 delivered $.7701 /gal. $.7550/gal. $.7523/gal. $.7689/gal. CRS -1 or CRS -2 picked up $.7500 /gal. $.7400 /gal. $.7500/gal. $.7500 /gal. and WHEREAS, Ashland Petroleum Company submitted an addendum to their bid placing conditions on their delivery of oil which the City is unable to accept: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Richards Asphalt Company for furnishing CRS -1 and CRS -2 (delivered and picked up) bituminous materials in accordance with the specifica- tions is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 20, 1981 Date ATTEST: Clerk 9 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
