HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-097 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81 -97 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A SOUND LEVEL METER CUSTODY AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities and the Minnesota Depart- ment of Transportation has granted to the City of Brooklyn Center a one year renewable contract for a motor vehicle noise enforcement kit; and WHEREAS, the motor vehicle noise enforcement kit will enable the Brooklyn Center Police Department to establish a program of motor vehicle noise level enforcement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a sound level meter custody agreement with the League of Minnesota Cities. May 4, 1981 Date Mayor ATTEST: lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
