HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-105 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81 -105 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW ROOF AT BROOKLYN CENTER WEST FIRE STATION /LIQUOR STORE WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Administrative Assistant have reported that on May 5, 1981, at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and installing a new roof at the Brooklyn Center West Fire Station /Liquor Store and that said bids were as follows: BIDDER TOTAL Central Roofing Company $31,178.00 Ettel Franz Company 35,850.00 Faircon Roofing Company 33,265.00 Busse Company 33,124.00 Lester Dalbec 33,894.00 G. A. Jacobson Roofing, Inc. 26,540.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of G. A. Jacobson Roofing, Inc. for furnishing and installing a new roof in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. May 18, 1981 Date Mayor G ATTEST: �Ierk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
