RESOLUTION ACTING ON 631ZD AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS: TErMINAT1NG
CONSIDERATION OF STREET IMPR079 ENT PROJECT NO. 1981 -10; AID
APPROVING WATER MAIN 7MPROMENT PROJECT NO. 1981 -11
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81 -77 adopted by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on April 6, 1981, fixed a date for a
public hearing on the proposed improvement of 63rd Avenue North between
Beard Avenue North and Brooklyn Drive by installation of Watermain Improve-
ment Project No. 1981 -11 and Street Improvement Project No. 1981 -10; and
WHEREAS, ten days' published notice on the hearing through two
weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was
held thereon on May 4, 1981, at which time all persons desiring to be heard
were given an opportunity to be heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota:
(1) that proceedings regarding Street Improvement Project No. 1981-
10 (Reconstruction of 63rd Avenue North between Beard Avenue
North and Brooklyn Drive) are hereby terminated; and

(2) that Watermain Improvement Project No. 1981 -11 (Installation of
Watermain on 63rd Avenue North between Beard Avenue North and
Brooklyn Drive) is hereby ordered as proposed in the resolution
adopted on April 6, 1981, with the provision that the portion
of the street disturbed by watermain installation be repaved
to meet existing conditions and that the entire street be seal
coated. The entire project costs shall be charged to the Public
Utility fund.

The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
