RFSOLUTIW NO, 81 -42
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHITTG D UNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
GTIERFAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center that the streets hereinafter described should be designated as municipal
State Aid Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967 Chapter 162:
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RFSOL by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the streets described as follows, to wit:
55th Avenue North from T.H. 152 (Brooklyn Boulevard) to Xerxes Avenue
56th Avenue North fror, T.H. 152 (Brooklyn Boulevard) to Xerxes Avenue
are hereby established, located, and designated Municipal State Aid Streets of
said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the
State of Minnesota,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Corrr.issioner
of Transportation for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the desirma-
Lion of said streets, that same be constructed, irproved and mintained as Munici
Tml State Aid Streets of the City of Brooklyn Center, to be numbered and known as
Municipal State Aid Street 109 -122 and 109 -123 respectively.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
meniber Tony Kuefler, and upon vote being taken thereon the followinn
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
