HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-295 CCRMember Tony Kuefler introduced the followincx resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -295 RESOLUTION PERTAINI�U TO SUPPLIl MgTAL AGRFM NO. 4 TO CONTRACT 1980 -A (53rd AVENUE NORTH D9WVP4n1T) WHR'- PEAS, the City Engineer has deemed it necessary that certain modifications be made to the contract for the 53rd Avenue North improvement project, said improvements incorporated into Supplemental Agreement I\b. 4 as follows: Furnish and install aggregate base as required; Remove concrete pavement under bituminous surface; Reimburse contractor for delay costs incurred in roadway width modification (modification ordered by City of Minneapolis); Reconstruct fence removed for landscaping purposes; Construct bituminous curb as required; Total increase in contract amount $5,986.21. WHFREAS, the Contractor, Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc., has agreed to the noted modifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the above modifications to the 53rd Avenue rbrth .ir•prove- ment projects are hereby approved. Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution eras duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
