HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-073 CCR[1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -73 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 7.5 KW GASOLINE ENGINE DRIVEN GENERATOR WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotation when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotation on the purchase of a 7.5 kw gasoline engine driven generator and has determined that the quotation of Flaherty Equipment Corporation in the amount of $2,540.00 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of a 7.5 kw gasoline engine driven generator in the amount of $2,540.00 from Flaherty Equipment Corporation.
