HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-083 CCR1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -83 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING OFFER FOR 1956 PIRSCH 750 GPM FIRE TRUCK WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center awarded a bid to American LaFrance Division of ATO, Inc. for a 100 foot rear mounted aerial ladder truck (Resolution No. 79 -55); and WHEREAS, a part of that bid comprehended the trade -in of a 1956 Pirsch 750 GPM fire pumper at a value of $5,000.00; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has. the option to either accept or reject the trade -in offer; and WHEREAS, the City of Brandon, Minnesota has offered to purchase the 1956 Pirsch 750 GPM fire pumper at a price of $7,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center accept the offer of the City of Brandon, Minnesota to purchase the 1956 Pirsch 750 GPM fire pumper in the amount of $7,000.00. March 24, 1980 Date Mayo ATTEST: C14rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
