HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-097 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.80 -97 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PRINTING OF THE PARK BOND INFORMATIONAL BROCHURE 1 WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of printing of the Park Bond Informational Brochure and has determined that the quotation of Brooklyn Printing and Advertising Company, Inc., in the amount of $2,400 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of printing of the Park Bond Informational Brochure in the amount of $2,400 from Brooklyn Printing and Advertising Company, Inc. April 21, 1980 Date ATTEST: C/ Clerk a; Zj� The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
