HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-108 CCR1 r Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -108 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS MATERIALS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 29, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of bituminous materials and said bids were as follows: Richards Asphalt No Bid No Bid No Bid $.6111 /gal. L. N. Sickels Company $.7500 /gal. $.7884/gal. $.7700 /gal. $.6161 /gal. 10,000 gals. CRS -1 or CRS -2 picked up No Bid $.6000 /gal. $.6000 /gal. $.6000 /gal. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Koch Asphalt for furnishing 5,000 gallons of MC -800, RC -800 (delivered) and RC -800 (picked up) bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Richards Asphalt for furnishing 150,000 gallons of CRS -1 or CRS -2 and 10,000 gallons of CRS -1 or CRS -2 bituminous materials in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
