HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-110 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -110 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 29, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: Class #5 Class #5 FA -1 Buck- FA -2 FA -2 Gravel Gravel Sand shot Rock Rock Bidder deliv. picked up picked up picked up deliv. picked up Barton Contr. $3.50 /ton $1.85 /ton $1.75 /ton $4.00 /ton No Bid No Bid Buesing Bros. Trucking $3.25 /ton No Bid No Bid No Bid $5.90 /ton$ No Bid NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Barton Contracting for the furnishing of Class #5 gravel (picked up), FA -1 sand, and buckshot in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid of Buesing Brothers Trucking the furnishing of Class #5 gravel (delivered) and FA -2 rock (delivered) in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. May 5, 1980 Date ATTEST: Jerk Mayo The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
