HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-111 CCRrl Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -111 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR 53RD AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN CAMDEN AVENUE NORTH AND BRYANT AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS the Director of Public Works and City Manager have been authorized to issue a Change Order to Contract 1980 -A providing for construction of a sixteen foot (16 centerline -to -North curbline width on 53rd Avenue North between Camden Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North; and WHEREAS Municipal State Aid Rules require the total prohibition of parking on any segment where such street width is constructed in order to be eligible for the use of State Aid funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER that "No Parking Anytime" regulations are hereby established and shall be posted and enforced on the north side of 53rd Avenue North between Camden Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North. This regulation shall become effective upon completion of the 53rd Avenue reconstruction project M.S.A.P. 109 113 -01. May 5, 1980 Date ATTEST: lerk Mayor dt The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly none, passed and adopted.
