HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-114 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -114 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT EOUIPMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of Fire Department equipment and has determined that the quotation of Nardini Fire Equipment Company in the amount of $5,408.80 for 4 -12 ft. fiberglass pike poles, 15 pair bunker pants, 12 fire coats, 15 pair bunker boots, and 225 gallons of light water is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of Fire Department equipment in the amount of $5,408.80 from Nardini Fire Equipment Company. May 5, 1980 Date ATTEST: "C' lefk Mayor �L/ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
