HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-115 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -115 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of Fire Department equipment and has determined that the quotation of Mid Central Fire Equipment in the amount of $7,586.60 for 3 -Akron pyrolite wye, 2- Elkhardt hose control, 3 -6 ft. ceiling hooks, 5 -GE 500 watt quartz light, 5 -Scott air pack, 10 -Scott mounting brackets, 10 -Scott air bottles, and 2 -super vac smoke ejectors is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of Fire Department equipment in the amount of $7,586.60 from Mid Central Fire Equipment.
