HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-117 CCRJ 1 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -117 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of Fire Department equipment and has determined that the quotation of Minnesota Fire Equipment in the amount of $3,158.50 for 8 -Atlas #50 rear step belts, 2- exhaust fan door bars, 4- hangers for super vac (2 sets) and 1 -set maxiforce air bag units is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of Fire Department equipment in the amount of $3,158.50 from Minnesota Fire Equipment. May 5, 1980 Date ATTEST /L l Cl rk Mayor/// The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
