R NMOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BA=IELD
LIGHTING PORTION OF CENTRAL FACILITIES IMPROVEMENT
1980-09, 1 ADVERTISEMENT F!' 1i D LIGHTING
UNTRACT 1980-H)'
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for the following improvement(s),
prepared by the City Engineer are hereby approved and ordered filed with the
Clerk:
MALLFIELD LIGITUU OF PARK FACILITIES
IMPROVEMENT 1980-09
2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by
publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the Construction
Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than three (3) weeks prior to
the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit bid
bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the
amount of not less than five per cent (50) of the bid.
3. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized to
open and tabulate the bids.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
rrEnIber Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and Celia
Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
