HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-135 CCRYkMber Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -135 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXEGJTION OF SUPP ,Rv0? PAL AG F ENT NO. 2 TO CONTRACT 1980-A FOR INSTALLATION OF SPECIAL DRAINAGE STRUCTURES ALONG 53RD AVENUE NORTH AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND APPROPRIATION CF FUNDS WHMEAS, the actual location of underground utilities on 53rd Avenue North varied from the design locations on the storm sewer plans for Project No. 1979 -2; and WIMEAS, the proposed location of catch basin structures conflict with the actual location of said underground utilities; and W EREAS, existing underground utilities can not be relocated in an ex- peditious manner; and V'MZEAS, no Contract Item has been provided for the authorized Work. NOW, SORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That Thorns Sons Construction Company shall be reimbursed for the furnishing and installation of curb opening catch basins according to the following schedule: Delete: Est. Unit Est. That the construction funds be appropriated from Municipal State Aid Construction Account No. 2613. 3. The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute Supplemental Agreement Number 2 with Thomas Sons Construction Company under ntract 1980-A thereby releasing said funds for payment.
