HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-138 CCRr1 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -138 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING INSURANCE PROPOSAL WHEREAS, the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company has written a disability income insurance policy for members of the Minnesota State Fire Department Association; and WHEREAS, the City Council, on May 5, 1980 authorized the Director of Finance to request a proposal from the Company to write the coverage for members of the Brooklyn Center Volunteer Fire Department; and WHEREAS, The Drew Agency, Inc. has submitted a proposal for said coverage with the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to accept the proposal of the Drew Agency, Inc. and the United States Fidelity and Guarantee Company to write disability income insurance coverage for members of the Brooklyn Center Volunteer Fire Department at an annual premium of $385; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the premium be charged to the General Fund Fire Department Operating Budget.
