RESOLUTION NO. 80 =153
RESOLUTION APPRdVING AGRJ91+IFNT NO. 60042 WITH MN /DOT
AMID AUTHORIZING EXEC[TI'ION THEREOF
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into
an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation,
for the following purposes, to wit:
To provide the installation, operation, and maintenance of
a traffic control signal system with street lights on Trunk
Highway No. 152 (Brooklyn Boulevard) at 65th Avenue North
in Brooklyn Center in accordance with the terms and conditions
set forth and contained in Traffic Control Signal Agreement
No. 60042, a copy of which was before the Council.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and
hereby are authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for
and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained
therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer is hereby directed
to encumber the amount of $41,870.00 from State Aid Account No. 2600 for
engineering and construction of this work.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar,
and Celia Scott;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
