HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-156 CCRMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -156 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ARBORETUM AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The specifications for development of the arboretum as prepared by Brauer Associates Ltd., Inc. and the City's Parks Recrea- tion Director are hereby approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such development by publication at least once in the official newspaper, the date of first publication not less than two (2) weeks prior to the date of receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in an amount of not less than five percent of the accompanying bid. 3. The City Manager shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. July 21, 1980 Date ATTEST: Cla k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
