HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-169 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 80 -169 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 6000 GALLONS #2 HEATING OIL FOR CIVIC CENTER STANDBY HEATING SYSTEM WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of 6000 gallons #2 heating oil for Civic Center standby heating system and has determined that the quotation of Pfleider Corporation in the amount of 83.96 per gallon for a total of $5,037.60 for 6000 gallons #2 heating oil delivered is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of 6000 gallons #2 heating oil in the amount of $5,037.60 from Pfleider Corp. July 21, 1980 Date Mayor ATTEST.: Cle k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
