HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-022 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -22 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 14,000 GVW STEP VAN WITH 14.6 FEET ALUMINUM BODY WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the Fire Chief have reported that on December 28, 1979 at 11:00 a.m. they opened and tabulated bids for the furnishing and delivery of a 14,000 GVW step van and that said bids were as follows: Suburban Chevrolet Iten Chevrolet 1 $14,755.00 $14,500.00; and WHEREAS, the Fire Chief has analyzed said bids and has found the apparent low bid to be in order. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $14,500.00 for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) 14,000 GVW step van with a 14.6 foot aluminum body according to the specifications be accepted. January 7, 1980 Date ATTEST: Clerk Mayor X The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
