HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-026 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -26 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE ALUMINUM OUTDOOR LIGHTING UNITS 0 WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of three aluminum outdoor lighting units and has determined that the quotation of Graybar Electric Company in the amount of $1,530 ($510 each) is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of three aluminum outdoor lighting units in the amount of $1,530 from Graybar Electric Company.
