HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-036 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -36 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) KUSTOM KRll MOVING RADAR WITH STAT -PACK 1 WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of one Kustom KRll moving radar with stat -pack and has determined that the quotation of Kustom Signal, Inc. in the amount of $2,685.00 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of one Kustom KRll moving radar with stat -pack in the amount of $2,685.00 from Kustom Signal, Inc. January 28, 1980 Date Mayor ATTEST: ,�f' -Clerk and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott;
