HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-062 CCRMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -62 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM 53RD AVENUE NORTH RECONSTRUCTION CONTRACT 1980 -A 0 WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on March 4, 1980, at 11:00 A.M., Central Standard Time, they opened and tabu- lated bids received for 53rd Avenue North Reconstruction Project Nos. 1978 -38, 39, and 44 and Project Nos. 1979 -1 and 2, and that said bids were as follows: Bidder Alternate A Thtal Bid Amount Alternate B Alternate C Arcon Construction $1,020,958.79* Bury Carlson, Inc. 983,215.78* C. NOW, FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Thomas and Sons Construction, in the amount of $843,436.00, as to furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equip- ment in connection with the above mentioned improvEment projects, according to the plans and specifications therefore now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted.
