HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-067 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and roved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80 -67 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPMVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1980 -08 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS (69th 73rd Avenues North at T.H. 252) 1 n J WHEREAS, the City Council has requested that the City Engineer investigate the traffic situation at the intersection of 69th Avenue North (CSAH130) and T.H. 252 and of 73rd Avenue North and T.H. 252 with respect to warrants for installation of a traffic signal at said intersections; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported that upon investigation, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has indicated that warrants are net for installation of a traffic signal at said intersection; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Improvement Project No. 1980 -08. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to direct the City Engineer to prepare reports, plans and specifications for said improvement project described as follows: 1980 -08 Traffic Signals Signalization of the intersection of 69th Avenue North (CSAH130) and T.H. 252 and of 73rd Avenue North and T.H. 252. March 24 1980 Date Mayor ATTEST:��� lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by menber Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
