HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-215 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -215 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF RATES AND FEES FOR THE USE OF AND CONNECTION TO THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the schedule of sanitary sewer rates, fees, and charges as previously adopted by Resolution No. 78 -61 be adopted in amended form as follows: SANITARY SEWER DIVISION RATE SCHEDULE 1 RATES: 1. Residential Accounts Billed During Calendar Year 1979 1980 1981 1982 Single Family* 15.75 19.00 20.00 21.25 Quarterly Rates Apartment 11.00 13.30 14.00 14.90 Elderly 8.75 9.50 *Includes double bungalows, duplexes and townhouses. *For elderly residents with the head of household or spouse 62 years of age or older and a maximum of 2 persons in the household. Persons meeting the above requirements shall file with the City an affidavit approved by the City. Such affidavit shall be filed between September lst and December 31st of the year preceding. 2. Non Residential Accounts Billed During Calendar Year 1979 1980 1981 1982 Per 1,000 Gallons* 0.70 0.85 0.90 0.95 *Multiplied by the metered water consumption. *All uses without water meter, fixture unit as defined by City of Minneapolis Plumbing, Water and Gas Piping Ordinances (1959) FEES 1. Connection Permit 2. Disconnection Permit 3. Metropolitan Service Availability Charge Fixture Units 0.95 1.15 1.25 1.30 $20.00 /Connection $20.00 /Disconnection As set by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission The number of unit equivalents which are connected or for which a building permit is issued shall be computed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission on file in the office of the City Engineer.
