HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-237 CCRMember Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: [1 RESOLUTION NO. 79 -237 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE PRESSURE DEMAND AIR MASKS WITH WALKWAY BRACKETS WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of three pressure demand air masks with walkway brackets and has determined that the quotation of Mid Central Fire Safety in the amount of $1,722 ($574 each) is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of three pressure demand air masks with walkway brackets in the amount of $1,722 from Mid Central Fire Safety. October 15, 1979 Date ATTEST: /LINZ clerk �0� The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly none, passed and adopted.
