HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-238 CCR11 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO, 79 -238 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MICROFILM AND FICHE READER PRINTER WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of one (1) microfilm and fiche reader printer and has determined that the quotation of M W, Inc. in the amount of $1,911.90 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of one microfilm and fiche reader printer in the amount of $1.911.90 from M W, Inc. October 15, 1979 Date ATTEST: a Clerk v Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
