HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-096 CCRi [1 Member Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -96 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 125 DOZEN SOFTBALLS WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of 125 dozen Dudley Red Stitch Softballs, and has determined that the quotation of Kokesh Athletic Golf Supply in the amount of $4,025 ($32.20 /dozen) is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of 125 dozen Dudley Red Stitch Softballs in the amount of $4,025 from Kokesh Athletic Golf Supply. April 23, 1979 Date ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
