HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-097 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -97 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CARPETING FOR THE COMMUNITY CENTER WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Administrative Assistant Mary Harty have reported that on April 17, 1979, at 11:00 a.m., central standard time, they opened and tabulated bids received for carpeting for the Community Center, and that said bids were as follows: Murray Floor Covering Company Carpet by Roberts $11,477.00 $10,308.90; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has shown that the bid of Carpet by Roberts represents the best bid submitted to the City of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Carpet by Roberts for carpeting for the Community Center in the amount of $10,308.90 is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. April 23, 1979 Date ATTEST: Clerk Mayor C�G' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Fignar and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i I
