HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-106 CCRMember Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -106 RESOLUTION DECLARING JUNE 1 THROUGH JUNE 10 AS BROOKLYN CENTER EARLY BIRD DAYS WHEREAS, the purpose of the City of Brooklyn Center Early Bird Days is to promote the City of Brooklyn Center, its people and amenities; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Park and Recreation Department, the Chamber of Commerce and other community groups participate in the annual civic celebration to demonstrate the vitality of the City of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to declare June 1 through June 10, 1979 as the dates for Brooklyn Center Early Bird Days. May 14, 1979 Date ATTEST: y� v Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
