HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-125 CCRMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 125 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF 750 GALLONS TRAFFIC MARKING PAINT WHEREAS, Chapter 471.345 of the Minnesota Statutes provides for the purchase of merchandise, materials or equipment, or any kind of construction work by informal quotations when the amount of such contract is less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000); and WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained quotations on the purchase of 750 gallons traffic marking paint and has determined that the quotation of Vogel Paint Wax Co. in the amount of $3,223.00 is the best quotation submitted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to contract for the purchase of 750 gallons traffic marking paint in the amount of $3,223.00 from Vogel Paint Wax Co. June 11, 1979 Date s�> r May o V ATTEST: Cork Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Gene Lhotka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar,
