HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-132 CCRThe Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Street Improvement Project No. 1979 -6 (MSAP 109 109 -18). The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on June 7, 1979, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Tony Kuefler introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79 -132 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1979 -6 (MSAP 109 109 -18) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefited thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1979 -6 (MSAP 109 109 -18) Street extension of existing Shingle Creek Parkway from City Hall northward approximately 200 feet to the south end of Bridge No. 27910 and from Freeway Boulevard southward approximately 250 feet to Bridge No. 27910. The estimated cost is $80,700.00. June 11, 1979 Date Mayw ATTEST:�p/ Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Celia Scott and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 0
