moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84 -168
SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON 1985 SINGLE FAMILY REVENUE BOND PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center (the "City wishes to develop a
single family housing program for the City and to issue housing revenue bonds
to finance the program; and
WHEP.EAS, i.n order to issue housing revenue bonds for a sinq_le family
housing program, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C requires the adoption of a
Housing ProgrE.m (the "Program after the holding of a public hearing, after
published notice at least 15 days prior to the date of the public hearing; and
WHEF.EAS, Section 103A(j)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as
amended, requires the adoption of a Housing Policy Statement after the holding
of a ?public hearing after reasonable public notice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn
Center!
1. That a public hearing on the proposed Program for the City i.s set
for December 10, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall.

2. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause the
publication of notice of the public hearing in a newspaper of
general circulation in the City at least 15 days prior to the
date of the Public Hearinq.

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The motion for `the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Rich Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott,
