HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-056 CCRMember Rich Theis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84 -56 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BITUMINOUS MIXTURES WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Director of Public Works have reported that on April 19, 1984, at 11:00 A.M. they opened and tabluated bids received for the furnishing and loading of bituminous and said bids were as follows: 1 Bidder C.S. McCrossan, Inc. Bury Carlson, Inc. Midwest Asphalt Corporation $17.25 /ton $19.00 /ton $20.40 /ton Bituminous Mixture with fine aggregate (picked up) $18.20 /ton* $19.45 /ton $21.25 /ton *Fine aggregate either 1/2" and finer or 1/4" and finer ATTEST: s v ?Clerk NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of C.S. McCrossan, Inc. for the furnishing of bituminous mixtures (picked up) is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 23, 1984 y Date Mayor Z /J The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
